College Summer Baseball Team's Amazing New Logo Proves Good Things Can Still Happen in 2020
By Scott Rogust
2020 hasn't been too great to sports fans. After an awful first few months, lowlighted by the tragic death of Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, all professional and collegiate sports leagues shut down in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. We could all use some good news to brighten up our days.
That's where the Bismarck Larks step in. The college summer baseball team (which will be playing in 2020!) introduced their new opponents for the upcoming Northwoods League season, the Bismarck Bullmoose. During their announcement, the Larks unveiled four logo candidates, and they're all awesome.
Seriously, which one do you choose? They're all great!
The Bull Moose moniker is synonymous with North Dakota. A bull moose is a mammal that originates from the Peace Garden State, and boasts tremendous strength and brawn. Additionally, Bull Moose was the nickname for Teddy Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States. That explains the mascot wearing glasses similar to the ones Roosevelt donned throughout his life.
The Bull Moose will make their season debut on June 17 when they face off against the Bismarck Flickertails. If there's one thing we can all agree upon, it's that the Bull Moose's logos are top-tier, and we'll all buy some apparel once they're available for purchase.
