Colts announce they've hired Shane Steichen as new head coach

The search is officially over for the Indianapolis Colts and they finally have their new head coach. On Tuesday morning, the team took to Twitter to announce that they've decided to hire Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen.

Steichen was fantastic this past year, helping Jalen Hurts really take a step forward in his career. Now, he'll be ready to do big things in the AFC South.

The Colts had a long search and many believed they were going to go with Wink Martindale. Instead, it's now Steichen's show to run. This feels like a strong hire by Jim Irsay and Co.
