Colts WR Dezmon Patmon Shoots His Shot at Zendaya Immediately After Getting Drafted

The feeling that overcomes new NFL draftees is certainly unpredictable. Some players have never felt more humble, while others are injected with an unrivaled level of confidence.

New Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Dezmon Patmon clearly personifies the latter, as he boldly tweeted at his celebrity crush, actress Zendaya, immediately after being drafted on Saturday.

That's certainly one way for the sixth-round pick to announce his status as an NFL player. If Patmon was thinking of a way to win over the hearts of Colts fans, this will surely do the trick. After all, not many of them can say that they shot their shot at a celebrity of Zendaya's prestige and allure.

The young actress probably doesn't respond to fan mail all that often, but Patmon's career stats at Washington State suggest that he has a better chance than most. Of his 222 career targets, the former Cougar hauled in 156. That's good for a 70% catch rate.

Those numbers have to work in Patmon's favor, no?
