Colts Extend CB Kenny Moore to Lucrative 4-Year Deal
By Brendan Azoff

Happy Birthday, Jim Irsay!
The Colts have signed their best cornerback, Kenny Moore, to a four-year contract extension that will apparently make the former Valdosta State star the highest paid slot corner in the NFL. Moore, who signed with the Colts in 2017, has had a solid two years and at only 23 years old has a lot of solid football left ahead of him.
The #Colts and CB Kenny Moore have agreed to terms on a 4-year extension, source said, one that makes him the highest paid slot CB in the NFL on new money. He had a year left, then an RFA tag. This replaces the tag and more. He can also play outside, but is their starting slot.

Moore had 77 total tackles last season to go along with three interceptions, making him extremely reliable in what turned out to be one of the surprising defensive units in the NFL. He has four career interceptions and has versatility throughout the secondary for Indianapolis.
It is truly remarkable that an undrafted player who signed just two seasons ago is now going to be the highest-paid player at his position, but it just exemplifies the hard work that Moore has put in.

In 2018, Moore earned the 11th-highest coverage grade in the slot (among CBs with a min. 200 slot coverage snaps) https://t.co/NMMVQdgZcA
Moore will continue to get better and you could expect to see an increase on his 1.5 sacks from last season as the Colts will look to use him in various blitz packages next year.
