Colts Trade up With Browns and Take Wisconsin RB Jonathan Taylor to Add to Frank Reich's Weaponry

Somehow, a running back that ran for over 6,000 yards in three seasons and ran a 4.39 40-yard dash lasted to the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, as Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor scared some teams away due to his fumbling concerns.
Frank Reich and the Indianapolis Colts ended Taylor's slide, as they traded up with the Cleveland Browns to select Taylor with the 41st overall pick.

Taylor, at least in Year 1, will pair with former fourth-round pick Marlon Mack to form a dynamic 1-2 punch, while former NC State star Nyheim Hines will still have a role on passing downs.
Taylor ran for over 6,000 yards in college, and his sprinter speed made him the most productive back in the country over the last three years.
The Badger workhorse should be in line for a heavy workload as a rookie.

As tempting as it will be to let Philip Rivers chuck it deep all game, leaning on Taylor and Mack might be the best strategy for the Colts next season if they want to get back into the playoffs.
