Comedian Bill Burr Trashes Drake as a Fake Raptors Superfan

This NBA Finals this year has been a bit different than previous ones, with one fan seemingly taking center stage away from the players.

That fan is Drake.

Many fans consider Drake to be the NBA's closest thing to a "superfan," but comedian Bill Burr argues he couldn't be farther from deserving of that recognition.

Burr explains that a "superfan" should be someone who supports a franchise through thick and thin, through good times and bad. Drake has only become a central figure in Raptors culture the last five years, and was certainly not as vocal or involved before Toronto turned themselves into a contender in the Eastern Conference.

Would a true "superfan" have tattoos of Golden State Warriors stars like Steph Curry and Kevin Durant, players who are supposed to be the enemy in this series?

I don't think so.

His behavior at the games is just as embarrassing as having Warriors players inked on your arm. He runs around like he owns the place and takes attention away from the team by doing so.

If he loved the Raptors like he says he does, he would sit down and enjoy the game like everybody else. His behavior would be unacceptable for any other fan in Scotiabank Arena, so why would it be ok for Drake to act this way?

While the team is gaining popularity, Drake needs to buy some popcorn, drink a beer and shut up like the rest of us at games.
