Commanders surprisingly trade WR Jahan Dotson to the Eagles

An in-division trade? That's what went down on Thursday morning, with the Washington Commanders surprisingly sending wideout Jahan Dotson to the Philadelphia Eagles. Washington's WRs room is looking quite thin right now, while Philly's is only getting stronger.

According to Adam Schefter, Washington sent Dotson and a fifth-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for a third-round pick and two seventh-rounders. Is this move from Washington setting something else up too?

With the Commanders adding draft capital, plenty of fans are hoping their next call will be to try and land Brandon Aiyuk. There's still drama there between the stud wideout and the 49ers, but Washington is a team that has been linked to him for quite some time. Who knows, maybe the Commanders' front office is setting up for another big-time trade. Stay tuned.
