Commanders won't exercise the fifth-year option on Chase Young

When he was selected as a first-round pick, just about everyone thought that Washington pass-rusher Chase Young would turn out to be a monster in the trenches. He had all the potential in the world.

Unfortunately, injuries have gotten in the way of him really taking off with his game. Now, we could see him with a new team after next season. On Wednesday, it was announced that Washington won't be picking up his fifth-year option. Whoa.

Young needs to ball out this year and remind people of just how good he can be. Unfortunately, he hasn't lived up to the hype in recent years. That's a huge bummer.
