CONMEBOL table heats up for World Cup qualifiers
With 10 games being played for most of the teams in CONMEBOL (except for Brazil and Argentina), the action is really heating up in the race for Qatar. While Brazil and Argentina basically have one foot in the door, multiple other teams are fighting for the other two spots.
On Thursday night, Ecuador jumped into third place in the table following a 3-0 win over Bolivia. What helped them was Uruguay and Colombia tied, opening the door for the Ecuadorians to climb up in the standings.

As you can see, there are seven teams in the hunt for Qatar. Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru are all hoping to advance along with Argentina and Brazil.
Remember, the Top 4 move on, while the team that finishes in fifth can still qualify via a playoff contest. Come Sunday, there will be more games on the way. We can't wait.
