Rumors have emerged regarding a potential rematch bout between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the pair's latest Twitter activity did nothing but stir the pot.

The Russian MMA star and reigning UFC Lightweight champion kicked things off by taking a jab at McGregor, posting a photo from their first meeting in which Khabib had the Irishman on the ground looking helpless.

That's a surefire way to get a rise out of McGregor, who took less than an hour to clap back with a response of his own, criticizing Khabib for his infamous post-fight antics, which earned him a suspension from the UFC.
