Cowboy Cerrone's Latest Proposal for Dana White is Further Proof He's Ready to Die in the Octagon
By Michael Luciano
Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone is an utterly unique character who has carved out a pretty sizable space for himself in the annals of UFC due to the frequency with which he fights.
The man with more UFC fights and wins than anyone else in history has a bout at UFC 249 lined up with Anthony Pettis. Once that's over, Cerrone is trying to push Dana White to let him into the UFC Fight Night cards on May 13 and 16, which would make him the first fighter to fight three times inside of one week.
Cerrone's wish sounds impossible, but he's the only guy in MMA with the condition and mindset to get this done.
He clearly values the quantity of his opponents over their quality, as he was no fan of facing Conor McGregor.
Cerrone might not have been up for the McGregor fight, but he's still willing to get in the octagon on a weekly basis, and you have to respect a guy with that dedication and reckless disregard for his body.
