Cowboys and Texans nearly pulled off a trade for Brandin Cooks
Leading up to the NFL trade deadline, it was looking like stud wideout Brandin Cooks was going to be shipped to a new team. However, surprisingly, nothing went down and he remains a member of the Houston Texans.
As it turns out, Cooks nearly made his way to the Dallas Cowboys, but there were issues with Cooks' contract. This prevented a deal from going down, and he was not happy at all about it.
Cooks doesn't want to keep playing for Houston. This is a struggling team and he wants to play for a contender. Unfortunately for him, that won't be happening this campaign.
