The Dallas Cowboys finally moved on from Jason Garrett after 10 disappointing seasons, and got themselves an upgrade in Mike McCarthy. Now, McCarthy has brought some huge names with him to Dallas.

But, what about the Cowboys coaches still under contract?

According to NFL Network Cowboys insider Jane Slater, there will be major changes to the coaching staff this season, with very little holdovers from the Garrett regime.

Names that Slater brings up include wide receivers coach Sanjay Lal and offensive line coach Marc Colombo.

Lal has been with the organization since 2018, and helped coach up a strong receiving corps, while developing second-year receiver Michael Gallup into a legitimate threat on offense.

As for Colombo, the former Cowboys offensive lineman was brought onto Garrett's coaching staff in 2015 following his retirement. In that tenure, Colombo continued to make the o-line unit into the dominant squad it's always been.

Slater brings up two names that will be added to McCarthy's staff to coach up the secondary. Those names include Joe Whitt Jr. of the Cleveland Browns, and Tony Oden, recently fired by the Miami Dolphins.

Given the complacency the Cowboys have exhibited this past decade, fans will surely be excited to see the team finally open to making some changes.
