The coronavirus pandemic has altered the NFL Draft process in ways we could have never imagined, and now we're seeing teams and players conduct virtual interviews to get prepared for the big day considering everything else is restricted. Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys did that with Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts, and the team gave fans an inside look at the conversation!
Some teams are taking advantage of this situation and fans are reaping the benefits.
Throughout the week, the Cowboys' Instagram page will be giving everyone a look behind the scenes as the team prepares for what will be the first digital NFL Draft ever held.
As for the team's chances of drafting Hurts, is Jerry currently formulating a plan in case contract extension talks with Dak Prescott don't go as planned and the two sides part ways after 2020? Who knows, but Hurts is an intriguing prospect who compares very similarly to Prescott.
In unprecedented circumstances, the Cowboys are adapting the best they can in order to make the 2020 NFL Draft a success, and it's nice they're giving fans a peek at what's going down.
