Cowboys' Jourdan Lewis Has Ruthless Comeback After Dolphins DT Tried to Roast Dallas O-Line
By Scott Rogust
The Dallas Cowboys entered Week 3 as heavy favorites against the lowly Miami Dolphins. However, through the first half of football, the Cowboys held a measly 10-6 lead over the dysfunctional squad from South Beach. Uh...help?
Luckily, in the second half, things started to look a bit more familiar.
Even though the Dolphins lost 31-6 via a second half surge from the Cowboys, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux took some jabs at his opponents in the contest's aftermath, for whatever reason. Godchaux took a swipe at the Cowboys offensive line, questioning why they would be called the best in the NFL if he was so easily able to punish them.
The tackle shared a video of him pushing through center Travis Frederick to hit running back Ezekiel Elliott behind the line of scrimmage. Cool?
"If they are the best o-line, then what am I?" Oh, Godchaux was in for a reality check in the form of a tweet from Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis, who was kind enough to take the time to answer his question.
And en route to 0-16! Fun times.
The Dolphins are in, perhaps, the most deliberate tank job in the history of professional sports. Countless players have demanded trades out, as the team looks primed to accumulate as many high draft picks possible. So, it is hard for Dolphins players to talk smack, especially when they're winless on the year.
Davon Godchaux recorded four tackles on the day, but was handed one massive "L" by Jourdan Lewis.
