Cowboys OL Travis Frederick Says He's Nearing Return to Full Strength From Guillain-Barre Syndrome
By Jerry Trotta

Dallas Cowboys All-Pro center Travis Frederick has been working his way back to football after being diagnosed Guillain-Barre Syndrome, an auto-immune disease, which forced him to miss the entirety of the 2018-2019 season.
The last we heard from Frederick came in late March, when the former Wisconsin star stated that he hoped to ready for OTAs, which he's been participating in recent weeks.
Fast forward to Wednesday and the 28-year-old provided another update on his ever-improving health. Per Travis himself, he's close to returning to full strength, though he won't know for sure where he's at in his progression until he can throw pads on again during training camp in late July.

"I think that's where we are in the point of recovery and I think that's going to be an important step to my return, being able to go through practice in pads and there's going to be rust," Frederick said Tuesday, via ESPN.
Per ESPN's Todd Archer, the four-time Pro-Bowler has an impending checkup with his neurologist for the disease, but Frederick believes that it won't be about anything that will affect his ability to play in 2019.

What tremendous news for Frederick and the Cowboys. That sound you hear is Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott breathing a BIG sigh of relief.
