The Washington Redskins could knock the Dallas Cowboys out of the playoffs with a win in Week 17, but they will need to overcome the loss of most of their star players in order to do so.

Safety Landon Collins, cornerback Josh Norman and stud rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin will not suit up for the Redskins as they prepare to take on the Cowboys.

Cornerback Fabian Moreau and safety Troy Apke, key reserves for the Redskins, will also miss this game.

While Norman has continued to regress, McLaurin and Collins are arguably Washington's two best players. Collins has been his predictably excellent self, piling up 117 tackles in his first season after leaving the New York Giants for the Redskins.

McLaurin, a speedy deep threat, has recorded 919 yards receiving and seven touchdowns in his first season out of Ohio State, already forming a terrific bond with both Case Keenum and Dwayne Haskins.

Washington already faced an uphill battle with Haskins out with an ankle injury, but losing their star wideout and their entire secondary have all but locked up an L to end the season.
