VIDEO: Cowboys RB Tony Pollard Hauls in Pass From Dak Prescott and Shakes Lions Defender for a TD
By Jerry Trotta
At least one of the Dallas Cowboys running backs came to play on Sunday. Ezekiel Elliott fumbled on his first carry of the game, a turnover that led to the Detroit Lions taking an early lead via a Bo Scarbrough touchdown run. Since then, the Cowboys have been marching up and down the field, but only had a field goal to show for it. Well, in the first minute of the second quarter Jason Garrett's side finally made it count, as Dak Prescott connected with rookie RB Tony Pollard, who shook one tackle on his way into the end zone.
We're not sure if that TD was more the product of the elusiveness of Pollard or flat out poor tackling by the Lions defense.
It's probably fair to give credit to both parties.
