By Tyler Kemp
With the league’s virtual offseason still in place, NFL players all over are finding different ways to pass the days during quarantine. Whether it is working out or spending quality time with family, players need to stay active when not having their heads stuck in their playbook. For Cowboys offensive tackle Tyron Smith, he decided to combine working out and family time together,
So, this is how Smith became a perennial Pro Bowl and All-Pro selection, as well as a member of the NFL All-Decade team at offensive tackle? Good to know.
The sheer power on on display that allows Smith to get up off of his back while holding his son up with one hand is amazing. It must have something to do with a cameo from a paused Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the background that gave Smith the internal motivation to do so. For Dallas fans, of course, this is just a normal Sunday on Smith blocking for quarterback Dak Prescott.
Once the NFL makes a proper return on the field, lifting up his son like a dumbbell will surely have helped him get in the reps necessary to move any and all defensive players standing in his way to help the Cowboys win big in 2020.
