The NFC playoff picture is a big mess, but this upcoming showdown between two playoff contenders could prove pivotal when the dust settles Week 17. Dalvin Cook and the 6-3 Minnesota Vikings will be traveling to AT&T Stadium to take on Dak Prescott and the 5-3 Dallas Cowboys in a bout of NFC heavyweights.

Minnesota is coming off of a heartbreaking loss to Matt Moore and the Chiefs and will look to rebound against a Dallas team who beat down the New York Giants in what could be dubbed a "cat-astrophic" Monday Night Football Game.
The Vikings ground and pound style offense, led by dark horse MVP candidate Dalvin Cook, has proved problematic for most defenses they have faced. The only way that Minnesota can seemingly steal a victory at the "house that Jerry built" will be reliant on the arm of Kirk Cousins, who has had an up-and-down season.
He'll be without one his favorite targets as Adam Thielen has been ruled out with a hamstring issue, which could prove detrimental for Minnesota.
