Crazy Person Brok Weaver's UFC Debut Could Not Have Come Soon Enough
By Jack Murphy
Fighters that represent the UFC don't usually portray strange characters outside of the Octagon. Those gimmicks are usually seen in the WWE and the WWE alone. However, if Brok Weaver's UFC debut tells us one thing, it'll prove that absurd characters can show up in this self-serious world, too.
Weaver will make his debut on UFC Fight Night 167 as he faces off against Rodrigo Vargas, who has a professional MMA record of 10-3-0. Weaver's record currently stands at 13-4-0.
And he's going to MAKE that debut while looking like an absolute wild man.
Just like any fighter trying to find his path to the UFC, Weaver had to overcome many challenges in order to make it where he is. After he was initially scheduled to make his UFC debut in October, the Alabama native will finally get the opportunity to show the UFC world his potential.
Weaver is a Native-American who proudly represents the MOWA Choctaw tribe. He will be looking to represent the tribe on a national level when he steps foot in a UFC Octagon.
While the UFC has had its share of outspoken fighters, fighters that use face paint while competing is something they lack. Brok Weaver's outlandish character is sure to draw in fans, as long as he has the skills to fight in the UFC.
