Cubs 2020 Schedule Officially Revealed
By Sean Facey
Joe Maddon said he's already looking to 2020 and beyond, and his timing couldn't have been more perfect, because MLB just released the schedules for each team for next year.
The Cubs are in a dogfight for the NL Central, but there's no reason to not look ahead to what they'll have to face in 2020.
The Cubs will kick off the season with a quick three-game set against the Brewers on March 26 before heading back to Wrigley field for a six-game home-stand that begins on March 30.
Chicago will play their first series against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 10 to April 12 and then they won't see each other again until mid-June when the two square off in the second edition of the London Series.
Chicago's first interleague game will come in June when they play host to the Baltimore Orioles for a quick two-game set on June 2 and 3. Later in the month, they'll match up against the Boston Red Sox at home and the New York Yankees on the road.
They'll head to the South Side for two games against the White Sox ahead of the All-Star break before playing host to them on June 20 and 21 with Windy City bragging rights on the line.
September will no-doubt be a make-or-break month if they're in the playoff race. They'll have seven games against the Cardinals that month and six against the Colorado Rockies. It could very well determine who takes the NL Central crown.
2020 holds plenty of exciting matchups for the Cubs, and it'll no doubt be a year that'll produce a plethora of memories.
