One thing Chicago Cubs fans are missing out on right now is hearing some great renditions of "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at Wrigley Field. The team has brought in celebrities and people from all walks of life to sing the classic song during the seventh-inning stretch, but the Cubs' Twitter account shared a classic rendition on Sunday that is famous for all the wrong reasons. The singer, if you can call him that, is Chicago legend and former Bears head coach Mike Ditka, and we love it either way.

This is a terrible rendition to someone not from Chicago. However, natives can appreciate an out-of-breath Ditka rushing through the song and having his voice crack throughout. It is vintage Ditka, and sums up his personality.

He is also not the only famous person to have a rough rendition, of course.

At least Ditka is beloved in Chicago. The Cubs have plenty of time to make future plans, so maybe this video resurfacing will get the team to invite him back for another try.
