Taking the mound for the Cubs tonight is Kyle Hendricks. The Chicago right-hander comes in with a record of 4-4 and an ERA of 3.34. This will be the first time Hendricks is facing the Astros in his career.
Astros Lineup
Following George Springer's hamstring injury, forcing him to the IL, the Astros' lineup took another blow as Carlos Correa is out for four to six weeks with a fractured rib. This will put more weight on Alex Bregman to consistently perform for Houston. Bregman has crushed 17 homers and recorded 38 RBI on the year.
Recently-promoted outfielder Derek Fisher leads off and plays left field, with shortstop Alex Bregman batting second, filling in defensively for Carlos Correa. Michael Brantley is in at DH and batting third, ahead of Yuli Gurriel who is playing third base.
