Cubs vs Brewers MLB Live Stream Reddit for Friday's Showdown

NL Central division rivals Milwaukee Brewers (54-50) and Chicago Cubs (55-47) are facing off in game one of what will be a three game series in Milwaukee.

The Cubs are entering Milwaukee on a low note after losing two of their three in San Francisco, but remain tied in first place for the division with the St. Louis Cardinals. To maintain first place, the bottom of the rotation has to find a way to step up and produce.

The Cubs will look for most of their production from Javy Baez, who's recorded 3 homers in his last six games. Willson Contreras is leading off, followed by the red-hot Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo. Baez is in the cleanup slot.

Kyle Hendricks will start at pitcher for the Cubs, holding a 3.41 ERA and a record of 7-8.

Brewers Lineup

The Brewers come in with a similar situation, just two games behind the Cubs after losing two of three games against the Cincinnati Reds. Gonzalez will start off on the mound, bringing in a 3.60 ERA and a 2-1 record.

Christian Yelich and Mike Moustakas continue to play as the heart of the team. Yelich enters the series with a .335 AVG, 35 HR, and 77 RBI.

The Cubs have a chance to separate themselves from the rest of the pack with this series, but the Brewers also have a chance to close the gap. And with the trade deadline coming up, don't be surprised if roster changes are made on both sides this weekend.
