Cubs Lineup

Nationals Lineup

The Nationals lineup is looking a lot better today with the return of short stop Trea Turner to the leadoff spot. Turner was hitting .357 before suffering a broken finger, and his bat is a welcome addition to the lineup. Veteran Brian Dozier finds himself near the bottom of the order due to his lackluster start to 2019.

Nationals ace Max Scherzer (2-4, 3.64 ERA) takes the mound to counter Hamels as he looks to out-duel the lefty and limit the Cubs' offense. The right-hander won his last start against the Dodgers giving up just 2 runs across 7 innings pitched.

It will be a pitchers duel at National Park tonight, with Scherzer and Hamels hoping to keep runs off the board.
