Cubs vs Pirates MLB Live Stream Reddit for Saturday's Game
By Parker White
It's been a rough second half for the Pittsburgh Pirates (51-70), but they had a nice come-from-behind win against the Chicago Cubs (64-58) in front of their home crowd, which included a walk-off base hit off the bat of Kevin Newman. The Cubs have lost four straight, but they are still only one game out of the division lead heading into Saturday.
How to Live Stream Cubs vs Pirates
First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. ET at PNC Park. The game will be televised locally on ABC 7 and AT&T SportsNet, and there are streams available on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Cubs Lineup
As per usual, Cubs manager Joe Maddon is putting out a different lineup, with the biggest change being recently promoted infielder Addison Russell starting at second base and hitting sixth.
Ian Happ will get the start in left field and bat seventh in place of Kyle Schwarber.
Jon Lester will toe the mound for Chicago, who has struggled mightily recently, posting a 5.63 ERA over his last seven starts. It's been an up-and-down year for Lester, who owns a 4.43 ERA over his last 23 starts.
Pirates Lineup
After being last night's hero, Kevin Newman has moved all the way up to the lead-off spot, followed by Bryan Reynolds, Starling Marte and Josh Bell.
With it being a day game, Elias Diaz will get the start behind the dish instead of last night's backstop Jacob Stallings. Diaz will bat seventh ahead of shortstop Erik Gonzalez.
The Pirates will give the ball to a left-hander of their own, as Steven Brault will get the start. Brault has bounced between the rotation and bullpen, but he's been getting the ball once every fifth day and over his last seven starts he owns a 1-0 record with a 3.25 ERA.
