Cubs vs Rockies MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Opener
By Michael Luciano
After stumbling out of the gate and sliding into the bottom of the NL West, Bud Black and the Colorado Rockies have stepped on the accelerator, riding the bats of Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story to an eight-game winning streak that has vaulted them into Wild Card contention. They host the Cubs on Tuesday night, as they look to continue their strong run.
How to Live Stream Cubs-Rockies
First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 PM at Coors Field and will be televised on NBC Sports Chicago and AT&T SportsNet. The game can also be viewed on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Cubs Lineup
Carlos Gonzalez, who starred in Colorado for ten seasons, could potentially make a cameo against his former side after signing with the Cubs. He's batting fifth in the order and starting in right field.
Kyle Schwarber gets things going, followed by the superstar trio of Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Javy Báez.
Kyle Hendricks, who is currently sporting a 3.09 ERA in 11 starts, was red hot in May. The veteran right-hander will look to fool Rockies hitters as he mixes speeds and utilizes one of the league's best changeups.
Rockies Lineup
Raimel Tapia leads things off in left field, with Trevor Story at shortstop batting second, ahead of David Dahl and Nolan Arenado. Daniel Murphy slots in at first base, with Ryan McMahon in at second base. Charlie Blackmon remains on the IL for this fixture, but was first eligible to come back on June 3.
Colorado will start former top prospect Jeff Hoffman, who was the coveted asset sent to the Rockies in the Troy Tulowitzki trade once upon a time. However, Hoffman has yet to put it all together, as he has a 6.01 ERA in 40 MLB games.
The Cubs are sliding and the Rockies are white hot. Can Chicago turn it all around against a Colorado team firing on all cylinders?
