VIDEO: Cubs Catcher Willson Contreras in Midseason Form After Nailing 2 Runners at Spring Training
By Jerry Trotta

Willson Contreras has one of the best arms of any catcher in baseball, and has made a name for himself as one of the hardest backstops to run against, due to his willingness to throw in just about any situation. Having already showcased his power at the dish this Spring, Contreras served up a reminder to fans just how devastating he can be defensively. Contreras gunned down a pair of Mariners baserunners with two laser beams during Sunday's spring clash.
It's 2020 and people STILL try to steal on @WContreras40. pic.twitter.com/7MgTfitiyY

Let this serve as a reminder to all 29 other clubs: running on Willson Contreras is ill-advised. Especially with Javier Baez ready to deliver a stunningly quick tag.
Seattle was clearly looking to exploit Jon Lester's long windup, and Contreras was simply having none of it.
