VIDEO: 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' Trolls Jets as Fan Kills Himself Over Team's Disappointment in NSFW Clip
By Jerry Trotta
Comedian legend Larry David is lauded for a lot of things in show business, most notably for co creating hit sitcom "Seinfeld." In terms of sports fandom, however, David is famously recognized as a long-suffering New York Jets fan. Well, the 72-year-old decided to humorously poke fun at Gang Green in the latest episode of critically acclaimed comedy, "Curb Your Enthusiasm." The episode centers on David's friend, Carl, who kills himself because of the Jets' misfortunes. Prepare for some NSFW language, folks.
Yup, we can confirm that David may never forgive the Jets for the sheer misery they have forced him to endure over the years.
Later in the episode, David explains the reasoning behind Carl's suicide before going on a rant about quarterback Sam Darnold suffering mono and how it basically torpedoed the Jets' hopes at enjoying a successful season.
This episode may not make Jets fans feel better about themselves, but sometimes laughing at the team's ineptitude is the best coping mechanism. David is evidently embracing that approach.
