D'Angelo Russell Reportedly May Be Open to Rejoining the Lakers
By Parker White

The Los Angeles Lakers made it clear that they are trying to win now after acquiring superstar forward Anthony Davis from the New Orleans Pelicans.
However, they have a hole at the point guard position, as they used Lonzo Ball in the AD trade and Rajon Rondo is becoming a free agent. So, who will the Lakers get?
Former Laker D'Angelo Russell seems to be a possibility, as sources close to him have said he's not against returning to LA.

Russell is a restricted free agent, so the Brooklyn Nets could match any offer sheet, but if the number gets too high for the Nets, they may just walk away and Russell could end up back in LA.
The Magic Johnson-led Lakers traded Russell back in 2017 so they could clear cap space and sign Paul George. As we know, that didn't work out and the Lakers have a max slot they could use on Russell, who is coming off an All-Star campaign with the Nets.

The breakup between Russell and Los Angeles wasn't pretty, but Magic is no longer in charge and it'll boil down to whether he wants to play with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Of course, there's still a chance of a potential Kyrie Irving-LBJ reunion.
