D-Backs Fan Tries to Moon Dodgers Closer Kenley Jansen During Tense Save Chance
By Michael Luciano
Who knew Arizona Diamondbacks fans were such a rowdy bunch?
During Monday night's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers, closer Kenley Jansen not only had to power through the top of the Arizona order, but he had to do so while being distracted by a fan showing his bare butt. Bold!
We've seen all kinds of signs, dances, and more to distract pitchers on the mound -- Craig Kimbrel has to endure fans mocking his pre-pitch routine at almost every road game -- but this might be a first.
You have to give that fan props for his valiant effort, but Jansen notched his 18th save without much difficulty, as the Dodgers took care of the David Peralta and Diamondbacks by a score of 3-1.
Arizona has won just four of their last 10 games and have fallen behind Colorado and San Diego in the NL West standings. When you're sliding, you'll try anything to spark your team to a win over a division rival, including some partial nudity.
