Dak Prescott and Cowboys Not Satisfied With Offensive Execution Despite High NFL Ranks
By Ian Anderson

Putting up the most offensive yards per game in the NFL is pretty good, right? Well it isn't good enough for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas sits in first place of the NFC East with a 5-3 record, only a half-game ahead of the rival Philadelphia Eagles, while putting up a whopping 436.8 yards per contest.
Dak Prescott says even though the #DallasCowboys have the No. 1 offense, he believes their best football is still in front of them.

Dallas ranks first in the league in yards per game and fifth in points per game, but they are not content with that. Just ask their franchise QB.
As Dak Prescott stated, "Hey we’re No. 1 in offense, it’s something we can be proud of, but it's not the staple. It’s not who we are. It’s not what we’re aiming for. We’re aiming to be a successful team, [not just] a successful offense."

A healthy Amari Cooper is a key part of that goal to be a successful offense, and Cowboys faithful should be relieved that the game-breaking wide receiver has a chance to return in time for the Cowboys' showdown with the 6-3 Minnesota Vikings.
Dallas has not lead the league in total offense since 1977, and hasn't won a Super Bowl since the 1995 season. Cowboys fans have waited a long, long time for an offense to be this effective-- but it won't matter a ton unless the year ends in glory.
