Dak Prescott's 'ankle' injury is absolutely nothing to worry about for Cowboys fans

Recently, Dallas Cowboys fans were overcome with panic when a photo made its way to social media of Dak Prescott wearing a boot on his foot. An offseason injury to hold him out of camp? Say it ain't so! Luckily, that's not the case at all.
Shortly after the photo went viral, Prescott got in contact with Cowboys beat reporter Clarence Hill Jr. to clear up the air. As it turns out, he's just fine and he was wearing the boot as more of a preventative measure.

“I’m great.” The QB also added he was wearing the boot for precautionary reasons because, “the last time I went deep sea fishing my (ankle) swole up.”

Nothing to see here. Prescott told Hill that the last time he went deep sea fishing, he ended up having a bit of an ankle issue, so he wore a boot to make sure history wouldn't repeat itself. That's obviously great news for Mike McCarthy and Co.
Last campaign, the Cowboys looked like Super Bowl contenders for most of the season, but then they blew it in the Wild Card Round vs. the Packers. It's on Prescott to try and wipe away those bad memories once the 2024 campaign gets started.
