Dak Prescott Contract Negotiations Should Only Make Deshaun Watson Angrier

Deshaun Watson is in an undesirable situation with the Houston Texans. Head coach Bill O'Brien just traded DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals after the receiver was Watson's top target for three seasons. Watson is still on his rookie deal and is making well under his true market value. That has to be one point of frustration for him.
Meanwhile, Dak Prescott is in the same state and is set to make over $30 million on the franchise tag in 2020. He may also earn a record-setting extension this offseason before signing his tender. This is all for a quarterback who was taken in the fourth round and arguably accomplished less, compared to Watson who went No. 12 overall in 2017 and has made the Pro Bowl in two out of three seasons.

Watson is just over a $4 million cap hit for the Texans in 2020. His fifth-year option is still on the table, but the Texans may hold off on picking that up if Watson makes it clear he wants out. Not being offered an extension could also anger Watson as he sees Prescott getting huge money and potentially Patrick Mahomes getting another insane deal.
Don't deal with the lies and the frauds. That's why I don't get involved. .

Wassup..?
The mismanagement by O'Brien has put Watson in a tough place. Demanding what Prescott is getting and being turned down by his coach could be the final straw to make Watson demand out of Houston. That could also mark the end of the troubled reign of O'Brien.
Something's gotta give.
