Latest Dak Prescott Injury Update Doesn't Bode Well for Cowboys' Chances
By Mark Powell
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys can still make the playoffs -- technically.
Should the Eagles lose at the New York Giants on Sunday, and Dallas win against Washington, then Jason Garrett would receive one last chance to save his job in a home playoff game in Jerry's World.
Yet, to achieve such a tough task, Dallas QB Dak Prescott needs to be his normal self. That wasn't the case in the Boys' loss to Philadelphia last week which put them in this predicament. As of Wednesday, Prescott's throwing shoulder wasn't doing much better.
Limited...at best. Ouch.
Behind Prescott, Cooper Rush would take the reigns against the Redskins if called upon. While the Redskins don't have much to play for, don't underestimate Bill Callahan's willingness to play spoiler in a rivalry game.
This may very well be Garrett's final game at the helm in Dallas. He'll hope to have his starting quarterback available to avoid a colossal embarrassment.
