Dallas Keuchel Drops Ton of Money on White Sox Team Dinner in Group Bonding Session

Dallas Keuchel has earned over $50 million in his MLB career and just signed a three-year, $55 million deal with the Chicago White Sox this offseason.
He showed up to Spring Training and wanted to get to know those in the White Sox organization better. So he did what anyone would do -- he spent $25,000 on a team dinner.
Dallas Keuchel spends about $25,000 on team dinner, preps for new start with #WhiteSox with plans to end 11-year playoff drought, and yes, very proud wearing that 2017 World Series ring. https://t.co/srFdADuNEi

Keuchel reportedly had 125 guests including players, clubhouse workers, coaches, trainers, front office members, and spouses. The wait staff at the restaurant hopefully got an amazing tip from the man who was able to easily afford such a meal.

Keuchel is trying to bring a new attitude to a team that hasn't been to the playoffs since 2008. Having the entire organization out to dinner sets Keuchel up as a team leader and shows the young guys how to rally the group and work toward the common goal of reaching the playoffs.
A $25,000 dinner may not be everyone's strategy, but it appeared to work well and give the new-and-improved White Sox a true leader.
