Dalvin Cook's Comments About Stefon Diggs Show What Kind of Teammate Diggs Truly Is
By Michael Luciano

Despite a productive season in 2019 with Kirk Cousins under center, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs demanded a trade to get himself more opportunities. His wish was granted after Minnesota picked up a host of draft picks from the Buffalo Bills in exchange for the veteran wideout.
The first Vikings player to address the trade was running back Dalvin Cook, who claimed that Diggs is a hard worker that wants to make plays, and you have to accept that someone with his mentality is always going to demand more touches.

The interesting point here is that as a teammate, you have to accept Diggs wants the ball, as most standout players do. Clearly Cook respects Diggs' work ethic and talent, but he also had to respect that Diggs was going to have beef if he wasn't getting the ball enough.
Despite setting new career-highs in yards per reception and receiving yards for a team who made the playoffs, Diggs wanted out of Minnesota, and he ended up in another cold weather city with a worse quarterback in Josh Allen.

Still, if Allen improves with his accuracy, Diggs could be the centerpiece of a potentially explosive offense. Playing alongside John Brown and Cole Beasley gives Buffalo one of the best wide receiver rooms in the league. Buffalo just needs to put up with Diggs' demands for the ball.

Minnesota's passing game will still be solid in 2020, but the loss of Diggs' ability to make plays deep down the field will be sorely missed. They'll likely look to the draft to improve that area and will probably aim for a player with a less imposing personality.
