The Minnesota Vikings faced the prospect of their entire offensive philosophy being thrown out of the window when running back Dalvin Cook suffered an injury on Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks.

Vikings fans can rest easy knowing that Cook was not named on the team's injury report and will be good to go in their rivalry game against the Detroit Lions.

Cook has exploded under first-year offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, running for 1,046 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground while chipping in 490 yards on 48 catches as a receiver.

Cook's injury forced third-round rookie Alexander Mattison to shoulder most of the burden on Monday Night, but Cook even seemed to know then that his shoulder injury was nothing to be concerned about, as he could be seen saying "It's not bad" when asked about his injury on the sideline.

The Vikings' offense runs through Cook, and Mattison as the sole running back isn't scaring anyone in the playoffs. Lions fans and fantasy GMs praying on Cook missing this game are going to be severely disappointed.
