Dan Dakich Destroys Officiating in Kentucky's Road Loss to Auburn

The SEC officiating crew that worked Bruce Pearl and Auburn's 75-66 victory over John Calipari and Kentucky has some serious explaining to do. While they were calling pretty much everything all night long, it seemed as if an inordinate amount of calls went against the Wildcats, who went on the road to Auburn.

College basketball analyst Dan Dakich lashed out at what he believed was nothing short of robbery, calling the game "the worst officiating of the year."

"Kentucky not being allowed to play in this game," Dakich said on Twitter. "The worst officiating of the year in Kentucky-Auburn. UK was absolutely taken out of this game. Terrible."

It's hard to disagree with him. Auburn shot 44 free throws on the night, as compared to only 24 for Kentucky. With most of their stars in foul trouble, defending Pearl's army of shooters became even more difficult for Kentucky, especially as the game leaked into OT.

Auburn has yet to lose a game at home this year, and it'll be really hard for anyone to knock them off of that perch if they continue to get aided by the officials in such a blatant way.
