Dana White Should Already Be on the Phone Setting up Kamaru Usman vs Jorge Masvidal
By Michael Luciano

Colby Covington might have talked a big game before UFC 245 at the Garden, but it was Kamaru Usman who ended the night as the victor. Usman took down one of the biggest villains in UFC last night, as his cathartic fifth round TKO of Covington allowed the Nigerian Nightmare to retain his welterweight title.

If Dana White, a master of promoting the best personalities in the sport, has any sense about him, Usman's next fight will come against fellow welterweight and the "BMF" of UFC in Jorge Masvidal.
An Usman-Masivdal fight would be the perfect contrast of styles in the division. While Usman isn't the biggest trash talker, he is as technically perfect and as accurate a striker as there is in the welterweight division. The bold, brash Masvidal goes 200 miles an hour every second he's in the ring, and is a far more aggressive fighter and better puncher than Covington.

A guy who hasn't lost an MMA fight since 2013 against the most entertaining non-Conor McGregor spectacle in the sport. That fight as the headliner would serve as a license to print money. All White has to go is make this fight happen.
