UFC fans have plenty to be excited about following this little snippet from Dana White. The UFC president hinted at the possibility of a welterweight championship showdown between Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal in July of this year during his Super Bowl week media availability.

It's no secret that everyone would love to see a clash between the two, especially considering the growing bad blood between them.
Usman and Masvidal had to be separated from each other after a verbal confrontation at the Super Bowl festivities in Miami earlier in the week.

The former is coming off of a massive win, downing Colby Covington in December of last year to defend his UFC Welterweight title and move to 16-1-0. The latter has been equally impressive over the past year. Masvidal famously logged the fastest knockout in UFC history against Ben Askren in July.
A title fight between the two of them would be downright electric, and based on White's words, it's tantalizingly close to coming to fruition.
