Danny Ainge Comments on Tacko Fall's Future With the Celtics
By Karl Rasmussen

The Boston Celtics deployed one of the most exciting Summer League rosters in the NBA this offseason, and a few of those pieces look set to stick around.
With Carsen Edwards already inking a multi-year deal to start his professional career in Boston, the C's have set their sights on headline-grabbing big man Tacko Fall.
For everyone asking about Tacko Fall and the Celtics, Danny Ainge said this morning on @Toucherandrich:

"We're trying to still get a contract done with Tacko. We haven't signed him yet. I really can't say much more about Tacko than we're just trying to get him in the fold."
Danny Ainge commented on Fall's future in Boston, and he said the team is "trying to still get a contract done with Tacko."
Fall averaged 12.6 minutes of game time in Las Vegas, putting up 7.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game. He knocked down 77% of his field goal attempts, most of which were within a couple feet from the basket.
While he struggles to play extended minutes and needs to improve his strength, the upside with Fall is clear. If the Celtics can get him comfortably clocking in 20 minutes per night, the payout would be surreal, as he has the size and strength to put up serious numbers in limited minutes.
Danny Ainge on with @NBCSBoston on Tacko Fall: "I think Tacko's gonna have a chance to make the roster. We'll see." #Celtics

While at UCF, Fall averaged 23 minutes per game across four seasons. He provided 10.1 points per game, alongside 7.7 rebounds and 2.6 blocks.
Hopefully Ainge and the Celtics front office can work out a way to keep Fall in Boston, as fans are clamoring over the 7-foot-6 giant.
