Danny Green Gives Encouraging Statement on Kawhi Leonard's Future in Toronto
By Charles Nason

The Kawhi Leonard free agency saga is well underway and the question of whether or not he'll stay in Toronto remains. Fans, city officials, and fellow superstars have offered up just about everything to try and keep Leonard in a Raptors uniform.
Well, fellow Raptors teammate Danny Green, who was included in the deal that brought him and Kawhi to Toronto, provided a bit of that craved reassurance.

Although he said he didn't know the exact percentage of chance that he stays, Green explained that he did believe, "It's a higher percentage for him to be here than to leave."

This doesn't necessarily mean that Kawhi will for sure be in a Raptors jersey next season. Green himself doesn't even know if he'll be in Toronto next year, so who knows if his comments on Kawhi carry any real weight.
For now, however, hopefully Green's comments can put the Toronto faithful at ease for the time being. Regardless, it's hard to believe that what he said about Leonard's future in Toronto will stop fans from the daily pestering of Kawhi and the outrageous offers to keep him.
