Dante Scarnecchia's Praise for Isaiah Wynn is All Patriots Fans Really Need to Hear to Get Confident
By Andy Loughmiller

Many people have been clamoring about how New England Patriots left tackle Isaiah Wynn is going to provide a huge boost to the offense when he returns to action. That's a lot of pressure to put on a guy who has only played five quarters in his two-year career in the NFL.
However, Dante Scarnecchia, one of the most respected offensive line coaches in the NFL, says that he's "really confident in Isaiah Wynn," which should make Patriots fans feel good ahead of his much-anticipated return vs. the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Scar is responsible for developing the offensive lines that have kept Tom Brady upright for almost two decades. He is undeniably one of the best in the business, and arguably the next most important coach on New England's staff behind Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels. Therefore, his opinions on this subject should hold a lot of weight.

"Right now, what we’re seeing is a guy who’s completely healthy, stronger than he’s been. We thought he was a good player when we went into the season. We think even that much more of him now. We think we’ve got a guy who’s completely healthy."
New England has had trouble both through the air and on the ground in 2019, and much of their issues have been attributed to poor offensive line play. Wynn has been and David Andrews was lost for the year after suffering from a blood clot issue.
Belichick also seems to be high on Wynn, but hasn't confirmed on how large a role he will play moving forward.
Bill Belichick on LT Isaiah Wynn and how he has responded in practice: “Good. Isaiah always works hard. He did a lot of scout-team work to get his timing back, working against a defense. He’s always ready to go.”

BB deflects on what might be a realistic expectation role-wise.
We know this is just a standard Belichick interview response, but it's better than him refusing to answer, which is typically his go-to response when he doesn't have anything positive to say.
Wynn being endorsed by both his head coach and his position coach (who are two of the best to ever do it in their respective jobs) should tell you everything you need to know about the second-year tackle.
