Darrelle Revis Fires Back at Richard Sherman in Twitter Fight That Will Never End
By Mark Powell

A Twitter battle between two shutdown cornerbacks has gone on long enough!
Or, perhaps not long enough.
Richard Sherman and Darrelle Revis are at it again, firing insult after insult at each other until one of them blinks. Yet, as if their nature on the gridiron, neither CB is willing to let the other get off the line of scrimmage.
3 facts here. @RSherman_25 •I’m more handsome than him according to women. •I’m better at corner than him according to everyone. •Shutdown corners are paid more than Zone 3 corners which I’m currently still am today.

To the credit of both men, it took weeks for either to attack the other's personal appearance. Now that this bond has been broken, there's no telling what's next.
Revis and Sherman have different styles of play, with Revis employing a man-on-man approach, following one receiver across formations. Sherman, meanwhile, fits well into a zone system, which gives him more leeway to showcase his playmaking ability.

Both players are Hall-of-Fame caliber. Both are among the best cover men of their era.
The natural competitiveness that comes with being the best -- and battling the best -- has gone from the gridiron to social media.
