Davante Adams Announces Birth of Baby Daughter in Packers' Postgame Media Session
By Scott Rogust

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams played like an inspired man during the team's 27-16 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday. As it turns out, there was a reason behind the skip in his step, and it wasn't just spotting Vic Fangio on the sidelines.
Adams revealed during a postgame media scrum that his wife, Devanne, gave birth to their baby daughter, Deija Leigh, on Friday.
Quite the week for #Packers WR Davante Adams. He missed Friday practice to be with wife Devanne for birth of their new daughter, Deija Leigh Adams. Returned today to catch 4 passes for 56 yards in victory. "Now," he said, "I’m playing for a stronger purpose than I was before."

Adams missed the team's practice on Friday in order to be with his wife on the couple's big day.
Now a dad, Adams headed onto the field with extra motivation. While he did catch only four passes from quarterback Aaron Rodgers for 56 yards, it proved to be enough for the Packers, who continue their undefeated streak heading into Week 4.
Davante Adams has a new role to play: dad. He announced the birth of his little baby girl during his media scrum. She was born 2 days ago. #Packers

While Adams has taken a bit of a back seat in head coach Matt LaFleur's new offensive scheme, it's still leading to wins. However, the amount of targets doesn't concern Adams, he plays for a "stronger purpose" in his life, and that's his newborn daughter.
Congrats to Davante and Devanne Adams for their newest addition to the family!
