Davante Adams Hops Into Odell Beckham Jr's IG Comments to Recruit Him to Packers
By Andy Loughmiller
We are poised for a second consecutive offseason filled with Odell Beckham Jr. trade rumors after his underwhelming season in Cleveland, coupled with his cryptic comments regarding his future with the Cleveland Browns.
Packers wide receiver Davante Adams isn't wasting any time, and is already recruiting Beckham to Green Bay via the comment section of his latest Instagram post.
Yes, that's Adams, checking in with, "Now let's make that facemask green" on OBJ's post.
Beckham would need to be traded in order to switch teams this offseason, of course. Therefore, the franchise that he ultimately ends up playing for in 2020 is not up to him. Of course, the Packers also aren't among the teams OBJ reportedly asked to "come and get him" during October's action this year.
That said, it would be a treat to NFL fans everywhere to see these two superstar receivers play alongside one another.
The Packers could really use another pass catcher to pair with Adams, considering that the rest of their receiving corps is filled with somewhat-unproven players. Aaron Rodgers is also starting to get up there in age. He would certainly enjoy having another elite wideout to throw to for the time being.
While this seems far-fetched at the moment, nobody predicted that Beckham would be traded to the Browns a year ago, so never say never.
