Plenty of people in Boston remain heartbroken Mookie Betts and David Price will don Dodgers' jerseys next season. The blockbuster trade wasn't a major surprise to David Ortiz, but while Big Papi discussed things on Thursday, he made it clear he knew it simply had to be done.

While Ortiz broke the deal down with his outstanding baseball logic, you can tell how sad he is both Betts and Price are now in LA.

It's part of the game. At the end of the day, Ortiz said baseball is also a business. With Betts on the verge of getting "Mike Trout money," the Sox had to send him out of town. Papi fully understands it, but still, he shares the same feeling of those in Boston who wish it didn't have to happen.

It's just going to be weird seeing Betts hit dingers in LA next year. No one is ready for it, not even Ortiz.
