David Pollack's Take on Georgia Adding QB Jamie Newman Will Fire Up Bulldogs Fans

The Georgia Bulldogs were facing a year of inexperience at quarterback in 2020 once Jake Fromm announced his decision to enter the NFL Draft.
Then the news dropped over the weekend that Wake Forest quarterback Jamie Newman is heading to Georgia as a graduate transfer. The 6-4 signal caller threw for 26 touchdowns and ran for six in 2019. The news got former Bulldog and current ESPN analyst David Pollack excited about next season.
Jamie Newman coming in for the Dawgs gives them a chance to be in playoff contention again next year. They needed a dynamic guy bc they are breaking an almost completely new Oline in 2020. He stretches the field with his feet and arm. Going to be a fun offense to watch next year

Georgia fans who don't know much about Newman should be excited about that tweet from Pollack. He analyzes the college game and would likely have just stayed quiet if he had no faith in Newman's abilities. This youngster is the real deal.

The one thing Pollack does point out is that Newman will face a tough test with a new offensive line. However, Bulldog fans can rest a bit easier knowing an experienced quarterback will be ready under center.
Fromm was never able to win it all while at Georgia and fans are hungry for that National Championship. Newman provides a new hope and Pollack's excitement should flow right into the fanbase.
